WHEN WE MEET
The following is information about our meetings.  BUT, DUE TO THE COVID19 VIRUS WE ARE NOT HAVING MEETINGS AT THIS TIME.  WE ARE HAVING CRUISINS, THOUGH.
​The St. Augustine Cruisers (SAC) car club meets the first Monday of each month at the Village Inn, 900 N Ponce de Leon Blvd. 6:00 pm to start of meeting is social time (ordering dinner is optional) and 7:30 to 8:30 pm for business.  If you are interested in becoming a member, come to one of our meetings or our monthly cruisin on the 3rd Saturday and we will be happy to meet you and answer any questions.  Please join us!
 
MONTHLY CRUISE IN
SAC hosts a cruise on the 3rd Saturday of every month at the Riverside Center (US 1 and SR 312 intersection) in front of Hobby Lobby -- 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Join the fun! All makes, models and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcomed.

This club email is checked everyday so you will receive an answer the same day or the following day.
The St Augustine Cruisers host an annual car show on the first Saturday of May every year.  Plus, we attend other events as a group during the year. These events are listed on the calendar.
 
ST. AUGUSTINE CRUISERS MEMBERSHIP
Membership is $25 per year, and it is open to anyone who owns, or has a passion for, classic cars.  It is not required for you to own a classic car.  We found that many people end of getting one after they join.  Plus, some members like to wheel and deal and are sometimes between owning classic cars.  We make it open to anyone that is a gearhead at heart and just wants to talk about classic cars.  Please attend our cruisin on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 4-7 pm behind Longhorn Steakhouse or our monthly meeting on the 1st Monday of every month from 6 pm to the start of meeting at 7:30 pm and we'll answer any questions. 

If you would like to become a member, please attend one of the above and request a membership form.  Fill it out and return it with your check made out to the SAC Car Club. 
Once you join, you will receive a monthly newsletter with lots of club information.  You will also receive a monthly events list with reminders each week of any shows, cruisins or local community events going on during each month of the year. 
 
REQUEST CARS FOR YOUR SPECIAL EVENT
SAC members drive cars that are at usually least 20 years old. Some are original antiques, others are modified vehicles. The value of these cars and trucks vary from $5,000 to over $100,000. We all love to have people look at our cars, but please don't touch.

All of the members have one thing in common. We all enjoy showing our old cars.  If you are planning an event and would like some cars to attract attention, we might be able to help. The more advance notice you give us, the greater number of cars we can get to participate. We will advertise the event on our website, in our club newsletters and at our meetings and cruises. Car shows and cruise-ins have several features that you may want to consider.   
  1. Will there be trophies or dash plaques awarded?
  2. Will there be door prizes?
  3. Will there be a 50/50 raffle?
  4. Will the participants pay an entrant's fee? (If so, they usually run $15 to $20 per entry car)
  5. Who will judge the cars?  Participants, show organizers, guests or a panel of experienced judges?
  6. Will there be food?
  7. Will there be entertainment?  (SAC has a DJ Trailer and we like to use it because it also has our logo on it) 
  8. Is there shade? 
  9. Are there public restrooms?

SPONSORS:  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR BUSINESSES to be SPONSORS
We have 4 different memberships for Sponsors:  $50 for 2 plaques we give out at our annual car show,  $120 yearly, $200 yearly or $300 yearly memberships.  The last 3 are different in the way we promote your business during the year.  The more costly the membership the more cruisins we will do at your business during the year.  We cherish our Sponsors because they help us raise funds every year for our charity, St Augustine Youth Services.  This organization supplies housing and emotional support for abused boys in our area.  They have some government funding but the funds we give them do not have the any government restrictions on how they spend the funds.  We are able to have our money used to buy bedding, school supplies or any miscellaneous supplies a child might need.  One year we raised enough to supply new winter jackets for the boys.
