About Us

The St. Augustine Cruisers Car Club (SAC), a family-oriented organization, began in the mid-90’s when four old-car enthusiasts got together to socialize and go on cruises in their classic vehicles. The small group increased in number, and the members decided to make their group official. Thus the St. Augustine Cruisers were organized in 2001 to promote interest in various types of special auto activities, create good fellowship and sportsmanship among the members, and to support charities. The St. Augustine Cruisers is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization.

Who We Are

The Cruisers now have over 100 member cars, and the group that started with four people having fun with classic cars has grown to be one of the largest car clubs in St Augustine, Florida.  Plus, we have not lost the main objective of having fun.

What We Do

Monthly meetings are held the first Monday of the month at the Village Inn on Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St Augustine, Florida from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Many people come early to enjoy the food and camaraderie.  Requests are made at a regular basis on how to join the Club. The answer is to come to the meeting, meet us, introduce yourself and we will give you the details.  Another way is to show up at our Cruise-in and do the same.

SAC hosts a Cruise-in the third Saturday of the month in the parking lot of the Riverside Center (Intersection of US 1 and SR 312, St Augustine, FL) from 5-8 pm with music, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

The club sponsors an annual car show on the first Saturday of May at the beautiful grounds of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, 207 N. San Marco Avenue, St Augustine, Florida.  The Club donates most of the proceeds from this show to benefit the children of St Johns County during the holiday season. Beneficiaries are the Sertoma for Kids toy drive done by the St Augustine Sertoma Club and St Augustine Youth Services.  The Sertoma for Kids Toy Drive benefits our children in St Augustine and St John's County.  The St Augustine Youth Services at 6624 US#1, St Augustine, near our southeast public library, is a nonprofit organization providing food, shelter, care and therapeutic treatment to children since 1989.  It is a new home for a child traumatized of abuse and/or severe neglect.  They provide a haven to live, learn, heal and grow in a safe, nonthreatening environment.
