The St. Augustine Cruisers Car Club is a family-oriented car club that began in the mid-90’s when four old-car enthusiasts got together. The small group grew quickly and they decided to officially become a car club. In 2001, the St. Augustine Cruisers were organized to promote interest in various types of special auto activities, create good fellowship and sportsmanship among the members, and to support charities. The St. Augustine Cruisers is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization.
We now have over 100 member cars and over 200 members. The group that started with four people having fun with old cars has grown to be one of the largest car clubs in St. Augustine, Florida! We are a family club, with monthly meetings at The Village Inn on Ponce de Leon Boulevard the first Monday of every month from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Many people come early to enjoy the food and friendship.
We host a Cruise-in the third Saturday of the month at the PRIME Outlets (formerly Belz Factory Outlet) on SR 16 at I-95 exit 318 from 5-8 pm with music, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. Each month at our Cruise-in, a car is chosen for the "Rick's Pick" Trophy in honor of Rick Molner, considered to be the "Godfather of The St. Augustine Cruisers." A photo of each Rick's Pick winner will be featured on the club website.
We also host an annual car show and donate a lot of money each year to various St. Johns County children's charities.
